GLAMA Lenten Service

2018 Lenten Services

Each year the Greater Lexington Area Minister's Association sponsors a Lenten worship service during the 6 weeks of Lent. This year the services will be held at First Lutheran Church on Wednesdays at 12 noon. There will not be a meal provided this year. However, drinks and desserts will be provided for those who wish to bring a lunch and fellowship around the table following the service.

Next Meeting of GLAMA - September 13, 2017

The first meeting of the 2017-2018 season will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County at 10:30 a.m. In addition to catching up with each other on the goings on over the summer, the staff at Hospice will talk about the ministry and work of Hospice.

GLAMA Welcomes New President

At the May 2017 meeting, The Rev. Matt Miller, pastor of First Lutheran Church, was elected the new president of the Greater Lexington Area Minister's Association. The Rev. Miller replaces The Rev. Brian Rummage who stepped down following two terms.

The Rev. Lee Zehmer, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, was re-elected as treasurer, and the Rev. Misty York was re-elected at secretary.
